Director S P Jananathan and cinematographer Ekambaram enjoy a special chemistry. After an excellent work in Iyarkai, the two came together to continue their good show in E.
Ekambaram, who missed the national award for best cinematographer in Iyarkai by a whisker, says, 'A cameraman should be able to get into the director's mind and accordingly give the best'.
Ekamabram worked as an assistant to Jeeva in Vaali and Kushi before making his debut in Thamizhan. 'But it was Iyarkai that gave me an identity,' he says.
Jananathan is also thrilled to work with Ekambaram, 'His imaginative camera work gave life to the visuals.' E is a hit and the two technically sound pair is happy with the way things have worked out.
