Karthi Says If Suriya is Hero, He would Like to Don Antagonist Role

Karthi is on cloud nine with the super success he received with his very recent release ‘Kaashmora’.  The movie has reportedly collected Rs. 15 crores in just a week time in Tollywood and has set a mini record.Though it received mixed reviews from the audience, the collections were never disrupted because of the talk.  Karthi received admirations and applause for his performance in both the roles he essayed in the flick.Karthi has recently participated in a success meet that was held in Hyderabad.  While addressing the media, Karthi said that the response the movie has received is gigantic and is unexpected.He said ‘this is not a regular movie, but a socio-fantasy with enough scope to perform.  The historical portions and Rajnayak’s character have been thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.’He went on and said that his brother, actor Suriya liked the movie a lot and shared a gag.  He said that his brother watched the flick in the theater and rolled in the aisles while watching the interval episode.  He also liked the second half of the movie and came all the way to social media to post his views on the flick.When media asked Karthi whether he would do a negative role in the future, he said ‘I won’t play an antagonist role in full bloom, but if it is my brother as the hero, I am ready to take it up.’Karthi is now busy shooting for his forthcoming movie with Mani Ratnam, which will wrap up in eight days.  He will be seen as a military officer in the flick.  The movie is titled ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’.  The movie features Aditi Rao in the female lead role.
