His maiden film ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ has got an Adults Only certificate, but director Aadhik Ravichander has no qualms about it. After all he wants the film to attract youngsters to whom he wants to convey a message about relationships.
In a recent interview the young filmmaker said that he had many scenes where the actors utter cus words as it is normal for people to use such words while expressing anger. He had muted 78 such words before sending the film for Censor certificate. However the officials who watched the film wanted to cut two kiss scenes to give a ‘U/A’ certificate, but Aadhik could not compromise on them as he feels they are necessary for a film catering to youngsters and also crucial to the film’s subject.
Aadhik also promises that his film will have a bold climax, which a Tamil film director has not tried before.
This proves that the G.V.Prakash-Anandhi-Manisha starrer will be a treat to young audience more than it was evident in the well-received trailer of the film. The film is hitting the screens on September 17.
