Chiyaan Vikram's latest action adventure 'Iru Mugan' is already a success as the film raked in huge collections in its first Four day weekend and the following week with a couple of festival holidays. Due to lack of competition the film has done exceptionally well in its second weekend at the Chennai Box Office.
In the just concluded weekend (between September 16 to September 18), 'Iru Mugan' remains unshaken by the slew of small budget releases. The Anand Shankar directorial has been retained in 21 theaters across the Metropolitan city. 273 shows have been screened in these three days with a phenomenal 90% occupancy. With this the film has collected Rs.92,07,260 from Chennai Box office alone.
The overall Chennai collections of the films stands at Rs.4,67,15,920. With this the film has been declared as a 'Hit' in Chennai.
Not just in Chennai, but even in other locations of Tamil Nadu, 'Iru Mugan' is performing very well at the box office. This despite the initial mixed reviews. The film has proved the star power of the Chiyaan.
