Directed and produced by Ramgopal Varma, 'Aag', with an inspiration of the runaway hit of 1975 'Sholay' would be released as 'Aggi' in Telugu across the south India on August 31 through Money Tree Entertainment.
The film unit is arranging a press meeting at Taj Krishna hotel in Hyderabad at 8 pm on August 23 to explain the details of 'Aggi', in which the unit would explain about the film in the form of trailers and song clippings to the media.
Amitabh Bachchan would attend the programme as a chief guest.
Amitabh Bachchan, Mohanlal, Ajay Devgan, Sushmita Sen, Nisha Kothari besides a debutant Prashant Raj played different roles in the film.
Prasanna Sekhar scored music for the movie.
It may be recalled here that Ramgopal Varma had earlier brought out many hit films like Siva, Satya, Company, Rangeela and Sarkar in Hindi. It is learnt that the entire film unit is likely to participate in the press briefing.
