Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 'Quick Gun Murugan' The hero of the forthcoming bilingual movie 'Quick Gun Murugan' Dr. Rajendra Prasad met the media persons at a press meet in Hyderabad.
The movie which will be screened in London Film Festival on October 16 has been made in Tamil and English.
Mr. Prasad, talking to the press said that he being a Telugu actor feels very lucky to have acted in an English film.
He said that the most important element of the success of an artist is the kind of opportunity that he gets in the film industry and without getting a good chance talent goes wasted as the person will never be able to prove himself.
Rajendra Prasad gave the examples of two of the greatest actors of Tollywood- N.T.Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Talking about the path adopted by his own acting career, the actor who has been in the Telugu film industry for 32 years said that he has done several roles based on comedy and also roles in films like 'Aa Naluguru' and 'Mee Sreyobhilashi' which convey a good message to the audience.
He said that in 'Quick Gun Murugan' the story revolves around the central character of a Tamil person and the makers have presented the cowboy character in a latest style.
The film gives a message to the non-vegetarians to become vegetarians.
The film has been directed by Shashank Ghose and is produced by Anand Surapur.
Anu Menon plays the role of the heroine and Ramba will be seen as a vamp.
The movie's distribution rights have been bought by 20th Century Fox and the same team of stunt choreographers who worked for the Hindi film 'Krish' have done the action scenes.
