Director Ram Gopal Varma is all set to direct another film based on underworld. This time he has The Father of All Godfathers, former underworld don Muthappa Rai on his lens.
RGV has already decided on the name of the movie - Appa and planned to rope Kannda actor Sudeep for the role. But now the director has changed the decision and Sudeep was replaced by Vivek Oberoi. RGV also changed the title from Appa to 'Rai'.
Vivek has earlier worked for two films with RGV-Company and Rakta Charitra and both proved as super hits. Vivek have earned good following among telugu audiences with perfect portrayal of Paritala Ravi's role.
Well, we can't say for sure if Rakta Charitra actor has indeed signed on the dotted lines, but the prospect of him playing the reformed don has certainly piqued our interest.
RGV is planning to release the film in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada. Regular shooting will begin on May 1st. CR Manohar is going to produce this movie
