Kamna Jethmalani has plenty of attitude and chutzpah. The structured actress believes in doing things by her own terms.
But these things all looked out of place, and almost presumptuous, in the aftermath of her first film Premikulu.
The film did not do well in the box office and Kamna's own show was no more than passable.
But now things have changed dramatically.
Kamna has now been part of a success and that means a lot to a fledgling career.
After Ranam became a hit, Kamna's approach looks vindicated.
People now accept her to be special and her poise and confidence are seen as well-placed.
Naturally after Ranam, Kamna has been getting offers of films from all over.
But there are a couple of things that preclude her from plunging headlong. Obviously, like most heroines, she also says she is pretty choosy about the kind of films she does.
Then she is also pretty busy in Tamil. Her first film in Tamil has just been release. The response has been mixed. But Kamna's brazen beauty has been taken note of.
So balancing between the Tollywood and Kollywood would be the biggest challenge of Kamna.
