The shooting of 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' directed by Teja and produced by K Chandrasekhar (Jeethu) on the banner of Gita Art Pictures with Nandamuri Kalyanram in the lead was completed recently and the post-production works are in progress.
Presenter of the film K Mahendra says, 'The rare combination of Teja and Kalyanram is the highlight of the film. So far, Kalyanram did never do a role as a village youth. Not only that there are very few films these days with village as its backdrop. So our film would be a definite off-beat from routine films. It is the story that runs between two villages. Teja's directorial abilities could be clearly noticed in this film.
There are seven songs in this film and RP Patnaik gave melodious tunes to all of them. As the story demanded, we shot most of the film in Madanapalli and its surrounding areas for about 75 days. Four songs, four fights, climax and other important scenes were shot there itself. The film has a good mix of family traditions, love and action. The film came out very well.'
