Sai Pallavi, the Premam (Malayalam) sensation, is on a roll. The actress is fast gaining a pan-South popularity, thanks to legends like Mani Ratnam and aesthetic filmmakers like Shekar Kammula and now Rajeev Menon wanting to rope her in. Only yesterday, we reported that Kammula is considering to cast her opposite Varun Tej. Today, it's the turn of Rajeev Menon of Minsara Kanavu (Merupu Kalau) and Kandukondein Kandukondein (Priyuraalu Pilichindi) fame.
Rajeev has a film lined up with GV Prakash Kumar as the male lead. He is wielding the megaphone after a long gap of 16 years. This film will have the musical score of the Mozart of Madras AR Rahman, who gave chartbuster tunes for the director's previous two films. Sai Pallavi cannot ask for more.
It's a double bonanza for Pallavi as she is getting to work with a seasoned cinematographer like Rajeev, who has cranked the camera for films like Bombay, Guru, Kadal, Chaitanya and Morning Raaga.
