Talented hero Siddharth may not be doing well with movies at the moment, as the success of horror comedy "Kalavathi" hasn't brought him any accolades. However, his good work always speaks louder than films.
During the recent Chennai rains and flood calamity, it is Siddharth who took some extraordinary initiatives to help the needy. Under the NGO Chennai Micro he has not just supplied food to people stranded in waters, but also helped many get shelter at various places, including his own apartment.
Recognising his greatest efforts, NDTV Annual Awards has today given him NDTV Indian of the Year award. Reacting on this, Sid tweeted, "On behalf of all the faceless volunteers, happy to receive the #NDTVIndian award...Live and help live. #ChennaiMicro #TNfloods #JaiHind"
Congrats Siddu.
