There are only few artistes who turn big heroines by playing small time roles. But Trisha is one good example to the theory that 'Hard work will always pay'.
Trisha made her entry into Tamil films in small time roles and then turned a heroine and played opposite several top heroes and became a No. 1 heroine. She entered into Telugu films with 'Varsham' and that movie was a big hit.
Later most of her films are hits like 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, Athadu and Stalin' wherein she played opposite several top heroes. She earned a good name as a nice performer.
She had also bagged the Nandi award for best female artiste in 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana' for the year 2005. This beautiful artiste had a wish to portray negative roles.
She says, 'I love the performance of Kajole in 'Gupt' and the Neelambari's character played by Ramyakrishna's in 'Narasimha'. If I get one such opportunity, I don't miss it.'
