The angelic beauty Minissha Lamba got a raw deal in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Corporate' where she had a miniscule role. She is willing to put behind the setback and concentrating all her energies on Raj Kauhsal's 'Anthony Kaun Hai'. Co-starring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, Minisha admits that she learnt to shed her inhibitions before the camera and think on her feet from Arshad. According to her Arshad got into the skin of the character with so much zeal that he constantly improvised dialogue during scenes and threw them at her impromptu.
'Arshad would say dialogues which were nowhere in the script and I was left wondering what to do. At first, I was a bit taken aback but they sounded so spontaneous that it later became a sort of mind game for both of us. I would like to match his lines with my own dialogues and responses. I'd like to think I turned out pretty spontaneous too,' she says.
Having started her acting career with Sujit Sarkar's poetic 'Yahaan' with Jimmy Shergil, Lamba caught the eye of the film pundits with her understated performance. Even in 'Corporate' the scene where she brings her lower middle class parents to a five star hotel to have lunch saw her enacting her part with confident gumption.
It seems the cine goers are going to see a lot more of Minisha Lamba in the days to come. She will be watched with anticipated speculation as to whether she matches up to the rigorous filmi life.
