Renowned Film Critic Anupama Chopra shared the winners of five categories.Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal' is being named Best Film of the Year 2016.Director Ram Madhvani bagged the Best Director of the Year 2016 for presenting the story of air hostess Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life to save passengers of hijacked Pan Am flight 73 at Karachi in Pakistan, with the movie 'Neerja' starring Sonam Kapoor.Manoj Bajpayee bags the Best Actor award for brilliant portrayal of gay professor in 'Aligarh'.Alia Bhatt wins the Best Actress award for playing roles in 'Udta Punjab' and 'Dear Zindagi' with conviction.Shakun Batra and Ayesha Devitre Dhillon are named Best Writers for 'Kapoor & Sons'.
