One of the important characters and leading model Sahil Singh of fantasy costume drama Chandramukhi is cooling his heels in a hospital room.
Sahil Singh broke his leg while jumping down from a height. Unluckily he could not maintain his balance and landed on his leg from a wrong angle. "Sahil had to do stunt, and he did not want a duplicate. In fact Sahil Singh is just now introduced in the serial. Poor fellow broke his leg and his leg is so badly swollen," says co star Mamik.
Comments director Sunil Agnihotri, "It was his first schedule and he was required to jump from a height of twenty feet. However, Sahil landed down with a thud and now he is in a cast for four weeks. It's like sar mundate hi ole pade. This is his first serial because till now he has only done modeling."
It's unfortunate because this also puts the shooting on a hold. Sunil has no intentions of either changing the track or replacing the artiste. Sahil is important since he is playing the love interest of Chandramukhi. "We have enough bank. Only thing is that once we start shooting now it will have to be at break neck speed but we will cope up."
Shot at outdoor locations like Kulu Manali, Raj Pipla and Mahableshwar, Chandramukhi is a huge costume fantasy with a still bigger star cast of Deepak Parashar, Natasha Sinha, Krutika Desai, Mamik, Sachin Khurana, Nishigandha Wad, Amita Nagia, Goga Kapoor, Shiva, Sanjiva, Raja Chaudhray, Ram Mohan, Vinod Kapoor, Rita Jagtiani, Dinesh Hingoo, Ria Walia, Gunjan Pant, Mahindra Ghule, Manish Sharma, Savi Juneja, Yogesh, Anwar Fatehan, Jai Prakash, Shandar Amrohi With Vindu Dara Singh.
