It seems Bollywood stars have suddenly got bitten by the hip hop bug.
A couple of days back there was the news of Abishek Bachchan recording a hip hop track with the American singer Wyclef Jean.
Now Sharukh Khan is said to have recorded a hip hop number.
But wait, not for any film.
King Khan might have thought of charging up the spirits of his players in Kolkata Knight Riders by using his own voice.
The Superstar sang a hip-hop song titled 'Run Just Run' written by Virag Mishra and composed by the veteran music director Bappi Lahiri.
The song is supposed to be an anthem for the brave hearts and reminds the listeners to constantly look forward in the life and go ahead to get what you dream.
The song which has lyrics in both Hindi and English apparently is the brainchild of King Khan himself.
With Hritik in news for appearing in a video for the IPL team Mumbai Indians, Sharukh can't let his team to be left behind when it comes to adding glamour.
Whether a video of the song featuring the Badshah of Bollywood is being planned as well is not yet known.
The song 'Apun Bola' for the film 'Josh' which was released in 2000 was the first song for which Sharukh lend his voice.
The song was a big hit and increased the popularity of the film.
Any way whatever Sharukh does is bound to become news.
He appearing for the video of the song alone would have been more than enough for people to take notice.
But again when the King is up to something he does it real big.
