Its celebration time for old war horses as multiple flicks released in the first quarter of this year have enjoyed a decent run at the box office.
After 'Rang De Basanti' [100 days], 'Taxi No. 9211' [50 days] and 'Malamaal Weekly' [50 days], its time for 'Being Cyrus' to pat its own back with a successful 50 days run. Though the film is currently being shown at limited screens, it is still commendable for an English language film with mainstream Indian actors, dark theme, black humor and some low key publicity to still manage to invite an audience over a long period of time.
This Homi Adajania film has done "good" business of approximately 4 crores ["good", because the film was mounted lavishly] and has paved way for other independent film makers to explore a new world of film making.
