This is certainly a unique one. Known for his melodramatic approach to cinema, Dharmesh Darshan has completely revamped his style, ambience and studio-system of working for his latest venture 'Aap Ki Khatir'.
It is evident from the fact that his entire team that shot non-stop till mid-March in England is going ga ga over the re-invented Darshan.
The film's leading lady Priyanka Chopra feels she is in Jane Austen's territory.
'We shot in a place called Walcot, about 80 km away from London. And it felt like we have been transported to Jane Austen's territory... the quaint cottages, the green fields, the fresh air...
'I didn't have to be in a gym to exercise. I just had to take a cycle down the road or just jog a mile anywhere,' Priyanka told us. She had taken her personal trainer along to train for Farhan Akhtar's 'Don'.
Priyanka's co-star Dino Morea too had a lot of fun.
'I acted fresh. I was in this paradise on earth playing a Casanova who is romancing two pretty sisters, played by Priyanka and Amisha (Patel). What more can I hope for?' he asked.
Interestingly, the entire cast is new not only to the director but also to one another.
'I have never worked with Dharmesh neither has Priyanka. She and I were together in 'Plan'. But we had no scenes together. Neither Priyanka nor I have worked with Akshaye Khanna or Amisha Patel. See what I mean by acting fresh?' said Dino.
