The popular music channels are brimming with the music tracks from the forthcoming flick 'Karzzz', the story of which centers around the character played by the music composer/actor Himesh Reshammiya.
The refusal of Himesh to direct the music for any other films expect the movies in which he acts as the protagonist soared up the expectations of the music lovers when the music of 'Karzzz' was going to be released.
With keeping a right balance in providing tracks that sounds very contemporary and satisfies every kind of listener, Himesh did not disappoint the public.
But again in Bollywood the charges of plagiarism has raised its ugly head and the accused is Himesh Reshammiya.
A Punjabi pop singer named Kulwinder Kally has charged Himesh with copying a song titled "Soniye Je Tere Nal' from his album 'Sham Wali Gaddi' which was released 4 years back.
This particular track from the music album of 'Karzzz' sung by Himesh has already become very popular.
Kulwinder has gone ahead and issued legal notices to Himesh and lyricist Sameer claiming Rs.5 crore as damages.
The NRI Punjabi vocalist states that he has the copyrights of the original track written by Shonki Khan from Pakistan.
He has given 15 days time for the accused to give their clarifications.
Meanwhile Himesh as a replay has said that he has only given his voice for the songs 'Ek Haseena Thi' and 'Soniye Je Tere Nal' as Mr.Bhushan Kumar has the rights for these two tracks.
