Bollywood has many actors who have a theatre background. In fact, some of them started their careers from the stage to learn the nuances of acting and gradually progressed towards films. However, in a recent interview Imran Khan said that theatre involves a different style of acting as it involves performing live in front of the audience.
But he revealed that he always aspired to direct films rather than face the camera. The actor, who has graduated from a New York film school, where he had to present a new film every week as part of the curriculum, had to write short scripts and edit the movie too.
He added that earlier he would write diligently but couldn't continue with it after he took up acting.
