Jacqueline Fernandez has quite an event ful year ahead of her. While she's currently promoting her upcoming release, 'Housefull 3,' the Sri Lankan beauty will also be seen in Remo D'Souza's 'A Flying Jatt' and Rohit Dhawan's 'Dishoom' featuring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, in which she plays a kleptomaniac.
"My Dishoom character is rebellious and, like the guys in the film, she's on the run. It was actually fun to do the action sequences like you're one of the boys," says the actress, refuting reports that she was approached for Salman Khan's 'Kick 2' but adds that she'd love to work with the 50-year-old actor again.
"(Producer Sajid) Nadiadwala gave me my first blockbuster with 'Housefull 2,' my first item song, and of course 'Kick,' so there is nothing that I wouldn't do for him. He supported me at a time when no one did. 'Kick' was an amazing experience and if I get another shot at something like that again in this lifetime, it'd be more than I could have asked for," asserts the 'Race 2' actress.
Queries about her bestie Sonam Kapoor playing cupid between her and Arjun Kapoor are met with peals of laughter. "No one set anyone up. If you are single, like me, you get linked up with everyone. If you laugh with someone in public, it's taken to mean that you're dating that person. I would never lie about seeing someone as I believe that the truth always comes out. Arjun and I have spoken about this. It's gone beyond jokes now," says the actress even as she refutes rumours of reconciliation with former flame, Sheikh Hassan bin Rashid al Khalifa, of the royal family of Bahrain.
"We were in a relationship but that was when we were kids. Now, everyone is perfectly happy doing their own thing. He is a married man now," she clarifies.

The 30-year-old actress is currently busy promoting her forthcoming film, 'Housefull 3,' in which she plays a psychiatrist and is paired with Akshay Kumar whose character suffers from split personality. But it's the girl gang on sets that she can't stop gushing about.
"Nargis (Fakhri), Lisa (Haydon) and I have known each other for years. As people who arrived in India as a career move, we relate to each other. We shot for an entire song, just us girls, it was really funny. Even after they called out action, one could still hear Lisa's voice some where, or me laughing, Nargis singing. None of the guys could pick on us. We were like a team," Jackie reminisces.Buzz is, she is doing 'Judwaa 2' opposite Varun Dhawan. "I haven't been offered the film but I know for sure that the makers haven't even gotten to cast the female leads yet," claims the actress.
Jacqueline will soon start prepping for Tarun Mansukhani's next which is being produced by Salman Khan and Karan Johar.
"It's a very cool script. There is a different kind of high-octane action in the film and there will the prep involved. We can speak about it once Karan announces it," she winks.
