The probable cast in the sequel of 2012’s Student Of The Year (SOTY) has been a big source for speculation in the Bollywood circle. Yesterday on 15th August, Karan Johar the director of the SOTY took to Twitter to confirm the fact that Tiger Shroff will be playing the lead in the sequel. "It's OFFICIAL....Directed by Punit Malhotra STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 ( SOTY2) with TIGER SHROFF @iTIGERSHROF", said Karan Johar.
Speculations are rife about who will be playing the lead opposite Tiger in the film. Rumours have been going around that the makers are looking to launch Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan through this film. Other reports also suggest that Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli and Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor have also been approached for the film.
