When its a Sooraj Barjatya film, you don't just expect the hero and heroine to hog all the limelight. There are bounds to be papa/mummy, chahcha/chahchi, mama/mami, bhaiyya/bhabhi and all other relationships that come in a family.
If there were Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit in 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun', it was hard to ignore the presence of Mohnish Behl and Renuka Shahane [who played Salman's bhabhi] in the film. Ditto in 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' where Tabu was Salman's sister-in-law.
Now with 'Vivaah', the fate is all set to be repeated as TV star Lataa Sabharwal, who shot to fame with 'Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki' [incidentally a Barjatya producution again], plays Shahid Kapoor's 'bhabhi' in the film. Married to Sameer Soni and playing a dutiful daughter-in-law to Anupam Kher, Lataa gets into a traditional Indian mode for the film.
Earlier Lataa has also been seen in soaps like DD 1's 'Dishaayein', Sony's 'Kehna Hain Kuch Mujhko' and Zee's 'Awaz Dil Se Dil Tak'. Hailing from Lucknow, she has been on the TV scene since 1998 and meanwhile has also acted in youth flicks 'Ishq Vishk' and 'Raghu More: Bachelor of Hearts'.
