Australian powerlifting champion-turned-actor Nathan Jones (of Mad Max: Fury Road fame), who makes his Bollywood debut in 'A Flying Jatt', plays the demonic supervillain named Raka. The movie's makers have crafted his look keeping in mind that he thrives on pollution and toxic waste. His character displays brute force along with superhuman strength that keeps growing with the smoke in his surroundings. From the Hognose Snake tattoo on his neck to the toxic motif on his chest guard, Raka's character is evil and sports the sinister smile.
Nathan, who is 7 feet tall wears shoes of size 17 that are custom made for him. His character Raka sports a body armour that weighs 35 kilos and a hand armour made of a full chainsaw, attached to a live motor inside it. Along his spine, there are block metal pellets that activate his energy with growing smoke levels.
His action sequences with the superhero played by Tiger Shroff were shot by an expert stunt team since the gravity defying moves were created considering his huge structure. Despite the difficulties that the heavy armour posed for him, Nathan managed to shoot the action scene convincingly.
Director Remo D'souza says, "As tough as it was, Nathan's core strength and physicality helped him pull off every stunt marvellously. In fact, with all the damages he caused on set, we gave him the title Nathan Jones — Breaking Bones."
'A Flying Jatt', produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, releases August 25.
