So what if the film 'Hope and a Little Sugar' was not the typical Bollywood film.
It was such a great chance for a newcomer to share the screen space with experienced actors like Anupam Kher and Mahima Choudhary and to be directed by the young and vibrant Tanuja Chandra.
And he has utilized the golden chance quite well too by giving a very credible performance in his first film itself.
Who are we talking about?
The name will not be familiar for the majority of the film lovers as his previous experience in acting was with Barry John in theatre. That too some years back.
The guy is Amit Sial, the photographer Ali in Tanuja Chandra's first English film which is getting good reviews after its release.
Amit's character Ali is the one who brings about a turning point in the film as well becomes the point of conflict in the movie.
And guess who made Amit Sial's smooth journey into Bollywood easy?
It's the 'D' man Randeep Hooda who after meeting Amit in Australia recommended him to Tanuja Chandra.
Now the wait for the next set of roles has started for the upcoming actor.
Amit, just make sure that you get your second step in the correct place.
