Before the last Friday's release Dear Zindagi arrived in theaters, there was no big buzz for the film despite having star actors like Sharukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Also, the distributors were highly unwilling to invest money into this film considering Shahrukh's previous disaster 'Fan' and dull markets following the demonetization announcement.But, surprisingly, the film seems to have managed the break-even at box-office in first three days of run. Apart from bringing in good applause for Alia Bhatt's sensible performance and mesmerizing Shahrukh Khan, the artistic values of Dear Zindagi also is garnering charming response.The film, which's made on a very low budget, proves the star power of Bollywood Baadhshah Shahrukh Khan by minting 35 Crore in its first weekend. Directed by Gauri Shinde, Dear Zindagi is a production of Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.In reply to the amazing response from cine folks for the surprising hit, actress Alia Bhatt tweeted, "#DearAudience, thank you for the warmth." Being the first big Bollywood film to come after demonstration, Dear Zindagi's box-office run can be termed as 'extraordinary'.
