Off late, quality taut thrillers are rare to find in Indian cinema. Whenever such films arrive, audiences lap it up in no time. Vidya Balan does such feat in 2012 with ‘Kahaani’ from director Sujoy Ghosh. Everything about this movie was special as Vidya Balan nailed it with a mesmerizing performance. Now, she is back into game with ‘Kahaani 2’ playing Durga Rani Singh, an accused in kidnapping and murder case.
To be more specific, ‘Kahaani 2’ trailer opened the crucial lock on which entire film is pivoted. Vidya Balan facing an accident and ran into coma. Police officer Arjun Rampal takes up the case reading Vidya’s diary which has many secrets and mysteries to unfold. Terrific performance from Vidya Balan is the USP for ‘Kahaani 2.’ After bluffing a police officer in the name of a missing husband in first installment, this time she is in as Durga Rani Singh cheating police with the case of a missing daughter.
All in all, ‘Kahaani 2’ trailer generated enough excitement as entire India awaits for December 2nd for movie to hit the screens.
