Kannadadha Kandha Review

From the career spanning four and half decades the yesteryears top actress Leelavathi has picked the subject from her life. It is an autobiography in parts of this great actress. Vinodraj the dancing hero coming back after self imposed exile has been cool once again in dance. The camera work, technical up-gradation and spirited speed what the film required.

Varada back after six years jail term is having do good attitude. He has become scapegoat for other's mistake and he is sentenced for six years in prison. He is brought up by an orphan house. He grows in the care of Leelavathamma. He is taught to punish the bad in the right attitude minus the violence. It is impossible because the rabble rousers are looking for his end. In the meantime he gets in to an emotional circumstance. That is when he is told who his father is. Varada questions his father why did he neglect his mother and why he has been discarded in life. What forced him not to accept him as his son? Finally when the son is accepted by the father the villain beats Varada severely and prepares a ground for the end of his family members. How can it be possible? Varada wins the battle rising from wounds.

Vinodraj should have got more mileage in the form of some strong scenes. It is Kishore who strikes with his deadly performance. Daksha the newcomer has a long path to go.

Two of the five songs are well composed. Camera is the major villain of this film.
