It's yet another movie starring Jai Akash --- almost the third in as many months. He has combined with Pranathi once again after Gurudeva. Radha Bharathy, who directed Vaigasi Porandachu starring Prashanth about a decade ago, has wielded the megaphone for Katrullavarai.

The time spent away from films seems to have rusted Radha Bharathy's abilities. The film's story is trite and the treatment is very banal.
