Sera [Krishna] played dead bodies collector along with his friends Nandu [Karnas] and Chittapa [Thambi Ramaih] down the suicide spot in Kodaikanal. Sera is hard at heart with no emotions, who develops a bond with Kavi [Bindu Madhavi] during an assignment of collecting her sisters dead body. Every story has a baddie to fight with the lead, here comes our famous antagonist Ayya [Jayaprakash] who smuggles the tea from estates with the help of manager. How did Krishna and his gang solve the thugs? How did the love between Krishna and Kavi blossoms? Forms the bottom line of Kazhugu…
Preformances:
Krishna has given his convincing performance for Kazhugu, inspite of selecting a different script. Bindu Madhavi, as ever made it perfect with her expressive eyes.
Thambi Ramaiyah and Karnas have given their funny performances as friends and partners of Krishna. Jayaprakash cameo as main antagonist was creditable.
Technical Analysis:
Yuvan Shankar Raja is one of the strengths of the film, besides direction of debutant Sathya Siva.
Cinematography by Sathya is added credit, who managed to show the misty nights well. Editing of Praveen K.L and N.B. Srikanth should be mentioned as part of technical crew that made Kazhugu screened well.
Analysis:
Performances could be credited according to the script, as it would be the rare choice to be selected. The background and taking suited the story line that is sure to bring an identity to the team with fresh talents.
Final Verdict:
Kazhugu marks smart performances by the lead pair and the supporting stars, perfect taking by the newbie Satya Siva.
A must watch different movie, from regular.
