by MyMazaa.comRekka Movie Review:Vijay Sethupathi’s latest film ‘Rekka’ is released worldwide on October 7th.Rekka is action-masala film written and directed by Rathina Shiva. The film is produced by B. Ganesh under the banner Common Man productions.The film features Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles, while Kishore, Kabir Duhan Singh,n Harish Uthaman, Sathish, Shalu Shammu, K.S.Ravikumar, Nasser, Sriranjani,Soundararaja play important roles.
Rekka film sports Vijay Sethupathi in the role of an advocate named Shiva. Actress Lakshmi Menon would be seen as a village girl who is a love interest of Shiva(Sethupathi).There comes a situation wherein Sethupathi is compelled to kidnap a girl and the rest of the film revolves around this threat.The Movie has many action sequences and some brilliant dialogue deliveries by Sethupathi.
The film is set against the backdrop of Madurai and Kumbakonam. Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of an advocate in the film, while Lakshmi Menon will be seen as a village belle.
Rekka is the sixth film of Vijay Sethupathi this year, who last seen in Sethupathi, Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum, Iraivi, Dharma Durai and Aandavan Kattalai’ films.The last two films ‘Dharma Durai’ film released in August and Aandavan Kattalai released in September last week were blockbuster at the box office.
