Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka Review
by MyMazaa.comStory:
Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka is the story of a middle class youngster Vijay [Aadhi] and his top class friends played by Shyam, Shree Karthik and Siddharth. Aadhi enjoys a happy, care for nothing life along with his friends and lover Niki Garlani till he get into a duel with Richa Pallod, on a New Year. What happens next? Why Aadhi had to face the Mumbai Don, Mudaliar [Mithun Chakraborthy]? Watch YNK on big screens to know...
Performances:
Aadhi has delivered a laudable performance. He holds the movie on his shoulders. His chemistry with Nikki Galrani tickles on screen.
Nikki Galrani made a dream debut in YNK. She has to be appreciated for infectious dedication, specially the bullet ride and apt dubbing.
Shyam, Shree Karthik and Siddharth need a special mention. They are not just limited to sidekicks.
Mithun Chakraborty's debut is noteworthy. Great comeback by Richa Pallod.
Technical Analysis:
Sathya Prabhas made a genuine attempt to make a perfect commercial film with action, drama, thrills, romance and what not. YNK is a collage of all the genres that ended as a enjoyable mocktail. Gripping narration and screenplay. Little director's liberties could make it best that it is.
Music by trio Prasan-Praveen-Shyam is excellent. Gelled well with the mood of the film. Hope they go long way as Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Shanmuga Sundaram get very innovative. He pleasantly surprised with 360 degree angle shot. VJ Sabu Joseph's editing is crisp with fine cuts.
Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka is a lavish production by Raviraja Pinisetty on his Adharsha Chitralaya Pvt Ltd banner. One to look out for even in future.
Analysis:
Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka is a Pinisetty family film with Aadhi as hero, his elder brother Sathya Prabhas as director and father Raviraja as producer. It is a feather for sure in their cap.
Everything is told. But then, YNK ends up being potboiler for its mixed (mock)tale.
