Patra ni Macchi, a Parsi signature dish is the dish for the day…Literally translates to "fish wrapped in a leaf". It's fish covered in green chutney.

Preparation Method

  1. 1 Clean, wash and cut Fish fillets into 2" by 1 ½" sized pieces. Now sprinkle Salt and half of the Lemon Juice and keep aside for half an hour.
  2. 2 Grind Coriander Seedss leaves, green Chilieses, fresh Coconut Grated, Cumin Seed and Garlic to a fine paste.
  3. 3 Add the paste in Fish and roll the Banana leaf and bOil in steam cooker.
  4. 4 serve it hot
